Maybe mine is defective?
"We decided to give this cup a try and to be blunt it is by far the worst vacuum sealed cup we own. Doesn't keep ice more than about 2 hours. We have many different brands from the popular ones down to cheap $15 off brands and they all perform better than this one. The outside of the cup is cold to the touch when filled with ice water, while all the other brands we have the outside of the cup is ambient/room temperature. In other words, they are keeping the cold in while this cup the cold is seeping right through it. We really wanted to love this cup, the design is nice, the color is nice, but it simply does not work."
